Richard Nelson Appointed Secretary for the Department of Revenue

Former candidate for Governor, Richard Nelson, has been appointed by Governor-Elect Jeff Landry to hold the position of Secretary for the Department of Revenue.

Representative Nelson is the representative for the Mandeville area and opted out of seeking re-election to run as a governor candidate but unfortunately experienced financial issues on the campaign trail.
